It’s worse when it’s your own fandom and no one else knows it exists.  At least with Sherlock or the other fandoms you can sit someone down and show it to them.

35 years ago, George Lucas released his brain child to the world—Star Wars. From a movie that executives thought would flop (so much so that Lucas retained all merchandise rights AND got them to remove the credits from the beginning of the movie) to a multi-billion dollar franchise that is still alive and well today, it’s a one-of-a-kind story.
For all the shit we give him, I can’t thank him enough. Because even though it happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, it told us to reach for the stars and never give up hope.
Vor entye, George Lucas. And May the Force Be With You.

Nothing is holding me back,
except for my dream for land to be reborn,
with a better, more happy soul.

So for now, just for now,
I’m walking away to find some peace,
to lift my spirit up.

And that’s why I’m glad,
that there are only a few,
who will think about me.

hope for me, White…

…don’t ever forget that!

And don’t say “I’ll never be good”. You can become better! and one day you’ll wake up and you’ll find out how good you actually became.

Remember, you can. I got your back, folks.
